A newly built mansion in the celebrity-studded Riviera section of Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, is coming onto the market Friday for $26.75 million, Mansion Global has learned.

Sitting on a less-than-one-acre lot on Ravoli Drive, the 14,000-square-foot house features California contemporary design mixed with a mid-century vibe, said Mark Matkins of Gunderson Matkins, developer and owner of the property.

Mr. Matkins, who has been building homes on the west side of Los Angeles for over a decade, partnered with the previous owner of the property for this project about three years ago. They also purchased an additional 7,000-square-foot parcel from the city of Los Angeles.

“The older house was situated on only half of the lot,” he said. “We decided to place a great, newer house to fully utilize the canyon view.”

To make the house organically part of the Temescal Canyon, Mr. Matkins and his architect team at O + L mostly used natural elements, including concrete, wood and glass.

“The home is designed to maximize views. You can peek at the ocean or the canyon from every room,” Mr. Matkins said.

The main residence and a guest villa have a total of eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. A 1,750-square-foot master suite features a walk-in closet with a three-story elevator to another wardrobe closet in the basement, according to Mr. Matkins.

Additionally, the home has staff quarters, a wellness center with spa, a massage therapy room, a safe room, a wine cellar, a home theater and space for a home production office.

Outdoors, the property includes a 50-foot swimming pool with two fountains, a seven-car garage, a bocce ball court and multiple fire features.

The property is also zoned for equestrian usage. “You can ride from the property directly to the canyon and the nearby Will Rogers State Park, which has a polo field,” Mr. Matkins said.

Hugh Evans III and Randy Forbes, Jr., both with brokerage Pacific Union International, are handling the listing.

The Riviera section of Pacific Palisades is home to Hollywood A-listers such as Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.
